About the Gallery
Mountain Sage is owned and operated by 15 “local” artists. We are your friends and neighbors. We stand in line with you at the grocery store and the movies, but we are also a group of professional artists who have earned top national and international recognition for outstanding work. We have been judged and juried by the best and accepted into the Pastel Society of America, Women Artists of the West, the Montana Watercolor Society, Professional Photographers of America, Western Heritage Artists, the Society of Animal Artists (international) and the International Society of Scratchboard Artists. Our artists have been represented at prestigious shows in New York City, San Diego, Santa Fe, Jackson Hole, Tucson, San Antonio and Russell Week in Great Falls. Our collectors hail from nearly every state. So, we invite you to take the opportunity to get to know and invest in these current masters. Is the next Charlie Russell one of us?

Mountain Sage Gallery is new and old. The gallery itself has been around for many years but we changed our name and location. The former name was Upper Missouri Artists Gallery. We moved to a larger location in 2014 where we can add more artists and conduct workshops. Please contact us if you have any desire to be in a painting, photography, or sculpting class. Thank you.
