Trinity watercolor painting

I created this painting with elements of traditional Ukrainian technique ''Petrykivka''. Combination of blue, ocher and yellow colors very popular  in Ukrainian traditional art and symbolize the sky and the earth.

A long time ago in Ukraine existed tradition to decorate houses inside, clothing, home decor with floral ornaments, different regions had a unique style . This particular style of painting came from village Petrikivka in central Ukraine.  This tradition doesn't lost and modern artists continue to develop this technique and create wonderful art.
